I have a Compaq v2405us w/ati radeon xpress 200m with dual port video out. when I tried to activate monitor 2, vista went mad and destroyed itself, literally. the partition became unreadable and would not even boot in safe mode with command prompt. I booted with knoppix on a dvd and made the windows-xp partition active. when in xp, i deleted the partition and the disk manager did not recognize the format. so I will try it again with the drivers that came with my computer for xp. perhaps it will work better.
